CHAPTER INFORMATION

The Missouri Chapter of the Association Of Public Safety Communications Officials is comprised of professionals from all aspects of public safety communications – from the front line operator, to the commercial partner! Membership in our association guarantees that you are part of something bigger!

Elected Officials

Missouri APCO is represented by elected industry professionals from across the State. The Board of Officers is comprised of the Executive Board and the Regional Ambassadors. Each aspect of the Board is charged with different responsibilities to ensure Missouri APCO and Missouri Public Safety Communications continue to lead the way and improve! 

Regional Ambassadors

Missouri is comprised of six regions which are represented by elected officials known as Regional Ambassadors – Regional Ambassadors. These ambassadors are tasked with assisting the Board of Officers in the management of all business affairs, offering regional insight and expressing regional concerns, maintaining open lines of communication with public safety communications professionals within their region, providing information on the benefits of membership and encourage public safety communications professionals within their region to join APCO, and encouraging APCO members to seek leadership opportunities and become involved in the management of the Missouri Chapter and APCO International. 

Governance

Chartered in 1955, Missouri APCO is still going strong today! 

As a professional association, the Chapter is governed by bylaws and a policy manual. Each document is considered a living document and as such is amended from time to time. In order for the bylaws to be amended, the quorum of the chapter must vote and pass the amended version.

Missouri APCO has many standing committees and taskforces to help manage the business of the chapter.
