Committee Work

Missouri APCO has several standing committees, one special committee and one taskforce that helps us manage the business of the Chapter and progress the profession. These committees and taskforces are comprised of members of the Chapter who donate their time and effort to making a difference. You too can become involved!

Awards Committee

Each year the awards committee reviews nominations for the Missouri Public Safety Communications Awards program and selects the recipients. This special committee is comprised of the Chair of the Missouri Public Safety Communications Conference as well as the Presidents and Vice Presidents of Missouri APCO, Missouri NENA and the Missouri 9-1-1 Director’s Association.

Bylaws Committee

Before the membership can vote, proposed changes must be made to the bylaws… and that is what this committee is for! This committee is called to action by the President and returns to a standby status after the amended bylaws are voted on. This committee is comprised of members from all levels of Missouri’s public safety communications field.
