We are dedicated to developing leadership in Missouri Public-Safety Communications

In an effort to promote personal, professional and leadership development in Missouri’s emergency communications profession, MOAPCO is committed to developing the number of members who have achieved the designation of Registered Public-Safety Leader (RPL) and/or Certified Public-Safety Executive (CPE) through APCO International.

The RPL program is an intense, year-long program that requires time commitment each week. During the program, you will be expected to read course material, participate in class discussions, complete solo and group projects, and work on a year-long service project that must be approved by the program facilitator prior to acceptance into the program.

The CPE program is an intense hybrid course consisting of two 12-week online classes and is concluded by a mandatory 10-day capstone seminar in Daytona Beach, Florida. CPE is a highly competitive course with a limited number of students permitted for each class. There are eligibility requirements for those interested in attending CPE.
