Public Safety Telecommunicators play a key role in every emergency, whether that be efficiently questioning callers in order to obtain critical details in a timely manner or providing life-saving instructions to those who are in a place of crisis. Missouri APCO is pleased to recognize these emergency communications professionals for being the life savers that they are!
Last week the Missouri House passed a budget that included $38 million for Next Generation 9-1-1 funding and NG9-1-1 GIS. In order to fully fund NG9-1-1, we need the funding increased to the originally requested amount of $47 million. We’re asking that you call and email your Senators THIS WEEK and ask that they fully fund NG9-1-1.

The Missouri Chapter of APCO is pleased to recognize this team from the Missouri State Highway Patrol – Troop D as Teammates in Action following the injury sustained by an officers who was shot in the line of duty and the manhunt that followed.
Missouri APCO announces the first recipient of the Matthew Knight Memorial Scholarship. Named for our late Commercial Advisor, Matthew Knight, the scholarship enables the recipient to attend the Missouri Public Safety Communications free of financial responsibility.
