For the majority of the year the Missouri APCO Board conducts business through email communication. This week members of the Board met over an eight-hour span in Columbia to finalize 2023 business and plan for 2024.
The goal for this retreat was to work with each other, brainstorm and come up with innovate programs and other ways to interact and engage with our members.
The Board is excited to see what 2024 brings us. Over the past year, our membership has grown to over 900 public-safety communications professionals and we continue to grow. We strive to ensure that our members find a benefit to being part of this Association and the Missouri Chapter. Our goal next year is to engage and involve more of our membership through committee work. We will be releasing more information on upcoming events and projects in the next few months.
As part of this working retreat, the members of the Board had a time of bonding, comradery and team building with a group dinner. We would like to thank CentralSquare for sponsoring this event, reducing the financial impact to the Chapter. Thanks to CentralSquare’s sponsorship of this event, your Board is closer and has a great working relationship. We are excited to see what 2024 has in store for the Missouri Chapter of APCO!
