In accordance with section 10.1 of the Missouri APCO Bylaws, members were notified via email, at least 30 days in advance of the meeting of the following bylaw amendments that are being considered.
All proposed amendments impact the governance of the Regional Ambassadors. Rationale behind these changes is to provide greater flexibility for the Board to more efficiently adjust regions in order to better serve the Chapter.
Proposed Amendment 1
Article 5, Section 5.2 currently reads:
Regional Ambassadors at Large
- Central Region
- Northeast Region
- Northwest Region
- Southeast Region
- Southwest Region
Proposed change reads:
Regional Ambassadors at Large shall equal the number of regions established in the policy manual.
Proposed Amendment 2

Proposed change reads:
Regional Ambassadors at Large will be elected for service within the general region areas listed in the policy manual. Specific counties in each region shall be established by the Board of Officers to provide the most effective representation of the area served and shall be maintained in the policy manual.
