The Missouri Chapter of APCO is committed to building future leaders within our profession and the Association. As such, we are pleased to offer a full ride scholarship to both the spring and the fall MPSCC. Please join us in congratulating the recipient of the spring 2023 Matthew Knight Memorial Scholarship offering, Cpl. Shannon Fannon of the Maries County Sheriff’s Office.
Cpl. Fannon serves as not only the Dispatch Supervisor but also the Jail Administrator and much more. As part of her duties she acts in a Public-Safety Telecommunicator compacity. She is working to make her agency better and has been active in sending staff to trainings in order to improve the service they provide to their citizens and field responders. She is also working with vendors to update their center’s infrastructure.
Cpl. Fannon has never attended the MPSCC before and she is looking to learn and bring back knowledge so she may share it with her peers. She also hopes to become a better supervisor because of this conference. She hopes that by attending the MPSCC, networking and learning, she can make a difference.
