Missouri APCO is seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to continue its legacy of being Leaders in Public Saftey Communications. Declarations of Candidacy my be received by the end of business on February 3, 2023.
DJ Malone of Central County Emergency 9-1-1 was appointed to fill the newly created role of Eastern Regional Ambassador. DJ will fill the role until the 2023-2025 election period.
In accordance with section 10.1 of the Missouri APCO Bylaws, members were notified of proposed changes to the bylaws through email at least 30 days in advance of the meeting.
All submissions have been received for the 2022 Christmas in July Drive. During the motn of July, Five agencies participated encompassing two regions to collect hygiene and first aid supplies that would go back into their community.
The designation of Chapter Life Member is an honor that is bestowed to those members who have worked for the betterment of their peers and the emergency communications profession in Missouri. Nominees for the distinction must first qualify by having been a member of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) for at least 15 years, been a member of the Missouri Chapter for at least five years and must have made three significant contributions towards meeting the needs of MOAPCO and/or APCO International.
